What is the difference btwn perfume and body spray? eau de blah what do they mean?which 1 is longer lasting?

There are 4 basic types, with the first being the strongest, and the last being the weakest. Body spray isn't actually considered perfume, as it's so little aroma, mostly chemical junk.





Perfume extract: 20%-40% aromatic compounds


Eau de parfum: 10-30% aromatic compounds


Eau de toilette: 5-20% aromatic compounds

Eau de Perfume lasts longer because it is made with oils, but it is more expensive because it is more pure. Body spray is mostly water and alcohol with fragrance. And perfumes that say eau de toilette or toilet water, are mostly water with fragrance. .What is the difference btwn perfume and body spray? eau de blah what do they mean?which 1 is longer lasting?
I'd say perfume is for those nice occasions where you want to attract your love and body spray for those quick occassions. I really don't know how there can be a difference when both just give off a smell that is surely going to pump guys up no matter what. And I would say perfume lasts much longer not because they overprice that stuff but they put so much more time and effort into making the product a quality product. Who knows the body spray may smell great but an hour later you might up smelling like soemthing else.... who knows. Anyways just giving in on my opinion. I don't know any true facts about perfumes or body spray cause I'm a guy.
perfume last alot longer...and bodysprays smell more fruiter and sweet but they soon fade..lol
my sisiter is a pharmacist and she told that the eu de parfum has longer lasting scent that the body spray which makes it more expensive.
