What does eau de toilette mean? perfume wise.?

Eau de toilette is cologne, not perfume. What does eau de toilette mean? perfume wise.?
The toilette water is a less concentrated fragrance that typically contains 1-6% concentration of perfume. It is meant to be a light and short lasting fragrance, typically like a body splash or spray mist that is found in after-shower products and also found in body lotion products.

Eau de parfum, is more expensive than the toilette water and contains typically 7-15% perfume concentrate. Lasts the longest. What does eau de toilette mean? perfume wise.?
t's a lighter fragrance than the actual perfume itself.. It's ';staying'; scent is also less than perfume, but by the same token, it's a lot less in cost than the actual perfume. And sometimes a lighter fragrance out in today's society ';works'; a bit better..

F.Y. I. I'm ';hooked'; on YSL's Opium.. and with that said, I'm also a transvestite, so that scent for me, is very sensual..

Eau de toilette has around 1-6% perfume concentrates. This makes for a light scent that doesn't linger as long as the more intense versions. It was originally intended to be a refreshing body splash to help people wake up in the morning.
